Early Summer sun showers, sea thrift blooms on the grassy verges, the pier in Cappa comes alive, river waves advance gently on the shore, always moving forward every wave unique.  Pretty shells line the shore.  For me, this painting is a joyful celebration of all the colours, shapes and textures of the beautiful shoreline of the River Shannon.
