"Friends Swim at Sunset"
 
I’ve swam all my life in the cold waters of the River Shannon and less often in the Atlantic Ocean.  A few years ago I decided with a few brave friends to try to continue swimming after the sunny season and continued swimming right through the Winter.  To say it changed my life is an understatement.  It is the best decision I ever made.  Our daily mantra when we have thoughts of ‘are we mad, or what??’ has become…. ‘but you never regret a swim’ and it is so true.  It has brought only positive vibes into my life, physically, emotionally and socially.  If you haven’t already tried it, take it from me, ‘you never regret a swim’!
