My youngest moved to Australia last year and as a mother, my heart was full of happiness for her heading off on her own life adventure but also as a mother, my heart broke at the loss of her daily presence in our lives.  We have the best chats on video calls which I am so grateful for and she has shared many a sunset from Coogee beach in Sydney.  Those video calls inspired this painting and the beautiful colours of the sunset and the water and the power of the waves as it crashes on the beach, Whispering Sea Spray.
