The Crossing'
Growing up on the banks of the River Shannon, the view of the ferry making its' daily crossings was always a constant in our lives.  We could set our watches by the ferry, decide when to go for a walk, "wait til the ferry cars are gone", a frequent line from my mother as we attempted to escape to go meet our friends for a swim or a walk!  Always a wonderful sight to see the ferry coming and going bringing the tourists to and from Kerry each day and of course great memories from day trips to Kerry by car or bicycle for picnics or days out.  It felt like leaving the country heading off on the ferry!
