I love to spend time watching the waves crashing, they come relentlessly, sometimes in different directions and different volumes, depending on what lies beneath the surface. I find it exhilarating to watch as they advance while building, breaking and then crashing. The power, the beauty of each wave crashing. It makes me think about my life and how my art practice brings freedom. Freedom to express myself from the deepest part of my soul. Breaking free from expectations, free from judgement, all laid on in the past from my own insecurities. Now I embrace my insecurities and instead of letting them stop me, I welcome them as an opportunity to learn, evolve and grow….. Breaking free
