"Slipways on the Shore"
 
This painting is inspired by one of my favourite swim spots where old friends meet.  Beautiful seaweed and moss cling on to the manmade slipways.  The underwater world claims our mass concrete as its' own, like a ship wreck deep underneath the waves. As I walk down into the sea, I thread lightly on the world under my feet, all the time aware of how privileged I am to recognise the beauty both over and under the waves.
