This painting was inspired by a very worrying time recently when our little rescue dog, 'Kiko' went missing.  The fear and worry while searching and waiting was almost unbearable, but in the end when he was located safe and well, with the help of our whole town out looking for him!  The feeling of pure joy was overwhelming.  The main thing I learned from this experience was to never ever give up hope and don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.  'Kiko' was the name given to him by the rescue centre that saved him from a terribly cruel situation, his name is Japanese for 'Joyful'.   Kiko is a very happy little dog now and brings joy to us everyday.
